Virginia Wolf was a British rock band of the 1970s and 1980s. The band featured Nick Bold on lead guitar, Chris Ousey (later of Heartland) was the vocalist for most of this time and Jason Bonham (son of John Bonham), David John Hinson (with vocalist Ousey, later of Heartland) was the keyboardist.

Montrose was a California-based hard rock band. The band originally featured Ronnie Montrose on guitar and future solo artist and Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar. Rounding out the original foursome were bassist Bill Church and drummer Denny Carmassi.
